The Annual Report 2015 provides a summary of key activities conducted by the NSACP during 2015 and data on STI and HIV reported from all the STD clinics. NSACP strongly believes in the importance of STI surveillance in the current low HIV prevalence context.

The Annual report of National STD/AIDS Control Programme (NSACP) is a reliable source of reference to both programmatic and clinical services provided by the National STD/AIDS Control Programme including its islandwide network of STD clinics and other stakeholders.

Fiji: UNGASS 2006 Country Progress Report (January 2003-December 2005)

Fiji recorded their first four cases of HIV in 1989, three being males and one being female. In the ten-year period between 1989 and 1998, Fiji had a total of 46 people diagnosed with HIV infections, an average of approximately 5 persons per year. In the five-year period between 1999 and 2003, a total of 96 new cases have been diagnosed with HIV, with the two highest figures being 26 in 2002 and 31 in 2003.

Japan: UNGASS Country Progress Report 2007

The scale above shows the number of people living with HIV and AIDS patients newly reported based on the Infectious Disease Control Law. The people who had already been reported as living with HIV and who had subsequently developed AIDS were excluded from the legal report.

Sri Lanka: UNGASS 2003 Country Progress Report (January-December 2002)

The first case of HIV/AIDS in a Sri Lankan was reported in 1987 and the first indigenous transmission of HIV was reported in 1989. The National Working Group on HIV Estimates convened by the National STD/AIDS Control Programme (NSACP) estimates the current burden of decease as between 4700 (low) to 7200 (high).

Thailand: UNGASS 2003 Country Progress Report (January-December 2002)

The proposed generic reporting format is meant to assist National AIDS Councils (or equivalent) in drafting their national report to be submitted to the UN General Assembly on biennial basis as a follow-up to the Declaration of Commitment (DoC) signed in June 2001 at the UNGASS on HIV/AIDS.
