United Nations Development Assistance Framework Indonesia: 2006-2010. UN (2008)

United Nations Development Assistance Framework Indonesia: 2006-2010. UN (2008)The UNDAF is the common strategic framework for the operational activities of the United Nations system at the country level. It provides a collective, coherent and integrated United Nations system response to national priorities and needs, including the draft PRSP, Millennium Development Goals Progress Report, the Master Plan for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in the Provinces of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and North Sumatra and the Medium Term Development Plan 2004-2009, within the framework of the commitments, goals and targets of the international conferences, summits, conventions and human rights instruments of the UN system. The UNDAF emerges from the analyses of the Common Country Assessment (CCA) and provides the common frame of reference for the strategy and country programme documents (or other similar instruments), used by participating UN system organizations for development cooperation at the country level. The UNDAF aims to improve the co-ordination of activities within the UN System leading to more effective use of the financial and human resources provided through it and to strengthen the partnership between the UN System and the Government and people of Indonesia.
